Care guides · In-home pet sitting
Get headquarters ready for your pet sitter.
You’ve got travel plans. Your pets have dinner expectations. A little preparation helps me keep their routine familiar while you’re away.
Write down the everyday stuff.
Leave feeding amounts and times, potty-break routines, medication instructions, and where supplies are kept. Your pet’s quirks count, too. A favorite hiding spot or a very specific dinner routine is useful information.
Put the supplies in one place.
Have food, treats, leashes, waste bags or litter supplies, and any medications ready. Show me where to find cleaning supplies and anything your pet uses every day.
Sort out access before you leave.
Go over keys or entry instructions with me during orientation. Let me know if anyone else will be stopping by. Keep access codes in your private care instructions, not public posts.
Leave a way to reach you.
Make sure I have your current contact details, an emergency contact, and your veterinarian’s information. Tell me about any changes to your pet’s care before the booking starts.
Choose care that fits your crew.
Some pets need more visits than others. Puppies, seniors, and pets with specific care needs deserve a schedule that fits them. My overnight service includes scheduled visits and an overnight stay; it is not continuous care.
