Hi, I'm Taylor
Dog walker, pet sitter, cat mom, and the only person who will ever show up at your door.
Why I do this
It started with Stella. She was my dog — a big, goofy, deeply loved girl who taught me what it actually means to care for an animal. Not just feed them and walk them, but really pay attention. Notice when something's off. Know their quirks. Earn their trust. When I started Westside Paws Co., I made a promise to myself that every pet I work with would get that same level of care.
I've been doing this for 7+ years. I've walked puppies who don't know what a leash is yet, seniors who need a slow and gentle pace, anxious dogs who need a calm presence, and cats who pretend they don't care that I'm there (they do). Every animal is different, and I genuinely love figuring out what makes each one feel safe and happy.
Westside Paws Co. is 100% owner-operated — that means when you book with me, you get me. Not a rotating team of strangers. Not a different face every week. Just Taylor, every single time.
What 8+ years looks like
Working with dogs, cats, and everything in between since before GPS walk tracking was even a thing.
Every walk, every drop-in, every overnight — handled personally by Taylor. No subcontractors, no surprises.
Plainfield, Avon, and Camby — the Westside of Central Indiana is home turf.
Available seven days a week — because pets don't take weekends off.
Insured & Bonded
Westside Paws Co. carries full liability insurance and bonding through Pet Sitters Associates — one of the most trusted providers in the pet care industry.
Pet CPR & First Aid Certified
Taylor is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, so your pet is in capable hands no matter what comes up during a visit.
In loving memory
Stella
The dog who started it all
Stella was my girl. She's the reason Westside Paws Co. exists — the standard every pet I care for is measured against. She was loved completely, and she deserved every bit of it. This whole business is, in a lot of ways, still for her.
My Fur Family
When I'm not out walking dogs, I'm at home with these three. They keep me humble.
Sage
The adventurous one. Sage is the cat who actually likes going outside — hence the leash. Curious, confident, and always ready to investigate something.
Felix
The philosopher. Felix spends a lot of time upside down, staring at the ceiling, and judging everyone's life choices. He's very good at it.
Sawyer
Full-time menace, part-time bird watcher, constantly hungry. Sawyer is the fawn-colored baby of the crew and she wants you to know that the birds outside that window are a personal threat to her and she will not be ignoring them.
