Meet & Greet and new-client requirements
New clients begin with a complimentary Meet & Greet before services are scheduled. Please complete your pet profile, care instructions, veterinarian information, and household access details in Time To Pet so I can prepare for a safe, successful first visit.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Plans changed? Please send cancellation or rescheduling requests as soon as possible through Time To Pet. Availability is not guaranteed for changes, especially during busy periods. Any applicable notice requirements or fees will be confirmed in your booking details.
Payment and late-payment expectations
All services are managed through Time To Pet. Please keep your payment method and account details current, and review invoices promptly. A card on file does not automatically process payment, so please submit payment through your account before your scheduled service. If you have a question about an invoice or payment, please reach out as soon as possible.
Home access and key handling
Clients are responsible for providing safe, reliable access to the home and for keeping access instructions current. Please share entry, alarm, parking, lock, and key details in Time To Pet. Let me know right away if anything changes before a visit. If access is not available at the scheduled service time, the service will be cancelled.
Service area and visit readiness
Westside Paws Co. serves Plainfield, Avon, Camby, and nearby Central Indiana communities. Before each visit, please make sure your visit notes are up to date and your pet has the supplies needed for care. For walks, I provide poop bags, water, and a small travel bowl, and I keep extra leashes in my car just in case.
Medication and care instructions
Please enter clear, current feeding, medication, mobility, behavior, and care instructions in your Time To Pet profile. Medication must be provided in its original container with easy-to-follow directions. Tell me promptly about any change in your pet’s health or routine.
Weather and safety
Weather-related decisions are made with each dog’s breed, health, and individual needs in mind. Short-snouted breeds may require additional precautions due to increased difficulty regulating their breathing. During periods of extreme heat or cold, visits may be adjusted to protect your pet’s well-being. When conditions are deemed unsafe, the scheduled visit will be cancelled and an account credit will be issued. Refunds are not provided for cancellations caused by inclement weather.
Treats and feeding
Westside Paws Co. does not give unauthorized treats, foods, or supplements. During the holidays, clients may receive a sealed gift that may include a pet treat. Please use your best judgment before giving the included treat to your pet, and always consider their allergies, sensitivities, and dietary needs.
Emergency veterinary authorization
Your pet’s health and safety are my highest priorities. Please keep your veterinarian and emergency-contact information current in Time To Pet. If a concern arises, I will first attempt to contact you. For non-emergency concerns, I will consult your primary veterinarian for guidance only when it is appropriate and necessary. I carry a pet first-aid kit and may provide basic first aid for minor injuries or urgent situations. In some circumstances, first aid may be provided before your pet is transported for veterinary care. In a medical emergency, I will contact you while arranging prompt transport for immediate treatment. Westside Paws Co. carries an insurance policy that may cover up to $2,500 in eligible veterinary expenses.
